The potting shed......finished

Going up......

We shoved.
We yanked.
We pushed.
We eyeballed a hundred times and shoved again.
Until finally......

I keep expecting the troopers from Sovereign Hill  to arrive at any time!!

I'm not sure what it is, but there is a lovely sense of calm  pottering around up there.

The hole in the side of the  wall is where the chook nesting box sat. We will cover it. We've both bumped our heads a few times going in and out so may look at putting a head height door around the south side... head height for us two anyway.
All the pots and potting mix and garden paraphernalia fit inside beautifully with plenty of room to spare.
I will plant the pots of herbs in the second bed today sometime. They are ones that I saved from our original kitchen garden.

Herb Garden in Cambodia
Amy has been helping to set up a herb garden at her school in Cambodia too.

She sent through a photo of her "white board"..... a sheet of paper tacked to the jack fruit tree.

She is struggling with the heat over there at the moment, so her two hour lunch break has been spent here.......

From the garden
Very exciting to see tiny green shoots poking their noses up. They are from the lemon seeds I planted a while ago.

And there are gorgeously perfumed flowers on our potted meyer lemon tree.

Vale Uncle Art.

You have passed on your love of fishing and the great outdoors to your boys. It is great to see.

Jack and Jean.....the remaining siblings of seven.
Aunty Jean aged 80 and Dad turning 90 on March 22.

Sharing fishing stories with the boys ( and Chris ).
