How hard can it be

.......to get everyone smiling at the same time ( with eyes open)!

******wait for it********

That was the best we could do!

Bill spent the weekend mowing every patch of grass he could find.
But didn't dare touch this piece of loveliness out the front.

It has gradually become a lawn of freesias and the smell is intoxicating.

There was a quick peek inside the shed but no big working bee this time.
Mind you, this photo makes you think that nothing has taken place at all!

Den obviously has something in mind though.

His little cowboy gun holster was unearthed. He doesn't appear to be wearing it in this old photo though.....just the gun. That's what Tarzan does apparently.
Fancy dress night. Dennis went as Tarzan, I was a bonbon and Dianne was a parcel. The date on the back of the photo says March 1961. Dennis would have been almost three years old.

Aunty Ray made dessert....always a treat.

Several rainy days have meant I've been sewing up a storm back at home.

Needed to search my stash for some matching thread and found these. I have forgotten where they came from but couldn't believe how their colours were so perfect.
There is something so nostalgic about old wooden spools of thread.

Archie celebrated his first birthday at the weekend. An early celebration and party so that Sam could be there.

Such a precious little man.

I have been quietly removed from Bill's shed.
He made a table from an old door just outside the shed and I said, oh that would be perfect for me! I suspect that's exactly what he wanted me to say.
My new workspace for playing with flowers.

Happy Birthday Debby in the UK. This card is coming your way.

........may as well make it the whole week for that matter.
