Exploring the world and buying plants

And she was off.
Flying to Kuala Lumpur then on to Delhi to meet up with Helen.
Helen's Mum had made them each the most gorgeous luggage tags.

(yes I know she's at the pickup instead of the drop off.....how the heck did we end up there Bill.....????)

A new catalogue in the mail is all it takes. Hopeless.

A  rethink about the bed across the front of the house.
It receives full northerly sun and wind so has to withstand the elements and fight with the big trees that take all the moisture from the ground.
I'll keep on playing with it until we find something that works.

I've been propagating everything in sight over recent days.
Daphne, roses, silvery plants of all varieties, salvias and cotton lavender.
And I haven't finished yet. Wouldn't have a clue whether it's the right time or not but I'm doing it anyway.

Around the garden path this week.

I pulled off the leaves and stems from the two bay trees either side of the potager entrance. I'm hoping they might eventually topiarize themselves! Haven't done that before!

The banksia rose hedge is filling up nicely. Now to get the rest of the little plantings around the fence line to look like this.

The catmint walk is also looking a treat. That side anyway. The right side has a few that must have drowned I think,  but that can be fixed for next year. They are so easily dug and split up to make new plants.

These scotch thistles look so striking amongst the dry grass in the paddock next door.

Sam and Kiann have found out that they are expecting a baby girl.
We couldn't be more excited for them.

Leesa and her boys have been camping at Rocklands.

Looks like such a great spot.
And great camping weather.

It's been a bit like that here this afternoon!

Have a fabulous week everyone.
