A good time to begin

The Farmer's Wife Quilt.
 Ninety-nine blocks.
One block per day seems do-able.
Off I go.......

Think I'll take the yellow out of these two.
( in fact I sewed this one incorrectly anyway..!)
That's better.
And one for today called Magnolia.
All the blocks are named after women.

It's been two years since we saw this special gang.
So nice to see you all.......Elaine and Casey, Janne and John.
Teachers and friends from the good old days!
(blowing a gale out there)

These look gorgeous in the garden room Elaine. Thank you.
A double delight...two flower heads coming from the same base.
I have never seen that before.

Bill picked this one. He thought I'd like the label. I so do!

A Christmas present hanging in the laundry.
Thanks Amy.
Just in case I forget what to do apparently!

Around the garden path.
A family of wrens cooling off near our kitchen window.

A climber flowering for the first time. Mandevilla laxa. Delightful perfume.

And this latest lilium just out today. Gorgeous thing!

Little Archer with his bright, smiling eyes.

And his big brother Flynn seriously contemplating life....

These little scallywags have been for a 6k walk with Bill today.
They are staying here with us for a few weeks and have completely taken over made themselves at home.

I have started using this beautiful fabric washi tape to stick photos on the wall. Haven't decided what to do with the buttons yet.

Thank you Viv. A little bowl of pretty stuff....and the lemon curd is delicious!

Just ask Bill........ :)

Special thoughts for Kiann's friends and family who are in the Waroona area in WA. The fires there  during the last few days have been devastating and are still out of control. We hope everyone remains safe.
