The Wedding

It has been a joy watching this love story unfold.

Ali has captured these two beautiful souls and their historic celebration perfectly.

The girls all made their own bouquets using flowers from the garden.

Helen's niece Ivy made hers too.

Claire and Sara made the scrumptious chocolate mud cake. They made the cake topper from bits and bobs collected from the garden the night before the wedding. So beautiful.

Sigrid.
What would we have done without you.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
You somehow turned our vision into reality.
Sigrid spent three long, hot days here cutting, arranging and setting up the foliage hoops, table settings and Bouquet Bar jars.
By this stage, our family of five had arrived from WA and I had put my grandma hat on.
Our mock up table.....no candles unfortunately. It was a total fire ban day.
Lots of eucalyptus loosely placed down the centre of the tables, jars of eucalyptus leaves, cootamundra wattle and cream achillea placed on a timber round, sprigs of eucalyptus seed pods tucked into the knot of the napkin.

Preparing the hoops that hung inside the marquee.
We used branches from our chineses pistachio tree and lots of eucalyptus foliage.

Emily took on entertaining for a while until she got locked in the cubby.

Thank you Sigrid and Zane. You did everything we asked of you and more in such trying conditions ( hot and windy ). For example, gathering up napkins and name cards that had blown away and improvising how they should be placed.

Flynn's entry in the guest book....

He is right. Such wise words from a five year old. I'm not sure why we all need to make it so complicated.
And here he is.....having fun!!

And Arch, mmmmm. It had been a long day for this little two year old.

Other photo credits....sorry, I'm not too sure, but thank you.
There will be more folks...... I won't be able to help myself.

Our Pilbara family have returned home now.
We miss them terribly.
