So much going on

They're loud, messy and full of energy.
We love having these little boys around the place.
And I think they love coming here too ( no full throttle on the ride-on mower next time though Ned! )

They helped us bag up the pulverised horse manure for our Farm Shop.

I started to prepare the signs over the weekend using whatever wood and paint I could find around the place.

Still lots to do but hope to get everything ready to go in the next few days.

This little bay mare is Pen number 152.
She arrived last Friday, another rescue horse.
We were asked to name her.
Introducing Pippi Rose aka Pip. She is expecting a foal soon.

She is still getting used to her new surroundings but we hope she is happy here with the other horses.

Around the garden path today ( apart from an onslaught of weeds).

Pa's broad bean seeds have burst through!!!!!

Wintersweet  was within an inch of its life to get thrown out having done nothing in months and now this..........( about time !)

Joanne's cuttings of "something" flowering! Do you know what these are Jo?

And finally the beginnings of much gorgeousness to come........the liliums are poking through.

And more lilium shoots from the little bulblets planted just a few weeks ago and kept in the mini hot house ( box with glass on top) up the back.
There are some beautiful green shoots on your fig tree cuttings too Jamesy.

The boys helped me remove some of the rust from the moke bonnet.

And I have sprayed it with Rustoleum.
It will make the perfect sign for Flowers from a Country Garden.
So exciting. I'll be beside myself if someone stops to buy something!
