Just being Grandma and Grandpa

Several days before the wedding and for nearly two weeks after, Bill and I did what Grandmas and Grandpas do, with our three little grandkidlets joining in or watching on.

Visiting the parks and playgrounds....often
Building a platform for a treehouse ( Flynn would have preferred an elevator and two storeys!)
Making a tyre swing
Playing table tennis
Splashing in the blow up paddle pool
Freezing potions made from bits and pieces ( jelly, milo, water was the favourite)
Having fun with their "cousins" at the wedding
Picking flowers for the farm shop, arranging them, making a sign and collecting the money
Collecting feathers for my collection
Feeding apples to the horses
Going to the museum with Grandpa ( Flynn) while Arch had his tonsils out
Doing the gummy food versus real food challenge (Flynn's fave)

For the most part, this little marshmallow just looked on......

In the middle of January.......

They have returned home now.
We keep finding bits and pieces that remind us of their visit and make us smile. Our FaceTime chats will have to do again for now.

Bill's Dad turned 90 on January 30th.
Sue organised a birthday celebration for him on Saturday and lots of the family were able to go along to help him celebrate.

Jo made a speech and got us all laughing.

We are in for some more hot days this week.
Stay cool everyone.
Hope you get to celebrate something this week too.
