Australia day

We had plans to do this tonight.

But summertime seems to have disappeared from here over the last few days.
Amy went bandicooting in the potato patch and came out with these beauties......

.......which then got turned into this.

Viv's mango chutney......

...... was smothered on these.

Eating your own home grown produce is such a thrill, even if it is just the humble potato. 
Thanks for cooking tonight Amy.

She flies to Cambodia next Monday for a three month volunteer placement in a school north of Siem Reap.
She will miss these little pooches.

I hope you have enjoyed your Australia Day everyone.
We really are lucky.
