We are over the moon about this little cherub.

He's a whopper! 9lb 9oz
Flynn had thought he was getting a baby sister. Mmmmm........
We think he is probably saying to himself....."What the heck is this? That's not what I ordered!"
Can't wait to stick our noses into those little chubby chops ( times two).
We have so much to be grateful for.
They are so precious and we adore them.
It's been babies galore at Frog Pond Farm this week.
We counted ten little ducklings out there. We think this may have been their first swim.
Jennifer arrived on Tuesday bearing gifts.
Thank you Jen, so kind and thoughtful.
We did some bartering. Glass jars for pulverised horse manure. She was thrilled with that! A girl after my own heart.
A bay tree for the potager ( we had a potted bay tree that was burnt in the fire) and that cute little bag contained homemade sauce and relish and strawberry jam.
The gorgeous watering can has found a home in the garden room. Oh, and two potted bromeliads for dry shade.
Farmshop flowers this week.....
Around the garden path..
Yellow forsythia.
So bright and pretty at this time of the year.
Our four baby ones have all survived the dry winter but have lots of growing to do to catch up.
The leucadendrons look so vibrant at the moment.
They make an excellent cut flower.
All the little boxes standing in a row......
Bill helped me dig the holes. One hundred and twenty of them. Thirty per quarter.
Thought I'd get them all planted in one afternoon. Pffftttt!!! What the heck was I thinking. Almost delirious after ninety plantings so had to leave the last quarter until the next day. Judy's gift pots produced all but two so I used two tiny rooted cuttings that I'd taken from Joanne's place.
I am so looking forward to planting these.
I've never grown sunflowers before.
They will go along two fences of the potager.
Does anyone know why they tell you to put two in the same hole then leave the strongest grower? My cheapskate bent finds it very difficult to do that! Why would you waste one?
Probably might be a few baby/ toddler photos in the next couple of blogs.
Just sayin!
Lovely to see photo's of Sam, Kiann, Flynn, and Archer.Congrats to you both on becoming grandparents for the 2nd time. Gorgeous family to be proud of. xoxo
