Such a lovely assortment!
David and Isabella would be proud.
The next reunion is two years from now.
Bill, Joanne, Sue and Andrew have been working together to collate as much information as they can about the Mitchell family.
The dates are great but I love the stories and objects passed down through the generations such as this piano stool.
Bill is currently reading a diary belonging to his Grandma from 1949. She writes about arising early to milk the cow and light the fire, bottling pears and peaches and the birth of a new turkey.
Life on a Mallee farm was full.
Our beautiful weeping elm .......
We think it may be the dreaded elm beetle and larvae that have been munching away silently over the summer months.
The tree is still in foliage so not denuded but we will need to be vigilant.
Two brothers......
Adorable little scallywags.
Just an extra smidge of pretty for my Farmer's Wife Quilt.
Needed something new to play with.
Dragon ladies, you are stars.
Amy's cricket team have won the semi final and are now playing in the Grand Final next weekend.....back at Mount Martha again!
We will be there to support them.
My new favourite food.
Just sliced and fried in olive oil for a couple of minutes. Had no idea what to do with eggplants a few weeks ago.
Thanks Jo.
And tomato harvesting is in full swing here.
Bill's completed horse shelter. I think I'll call it the pavilion!
( Could it be any drier?)
Our first yoga class last night.
Only a couple of tumbles! I'll get better at it I'm sure!
One little boy and his Daddy.
