It's raining, it's pouring

Just when we thought there was little chance of ever seeing rain again, the heavens have opened and it's pouring down.

This must be the autumn break that the farmers talk about.
They were all out in their paddocks at the weekend dry seeding in anticipation.( That's a crop farmer word....!?!?!) I hope this rain is falling on all their properties today.
The farms in the Wimmera area were bereft of anything even greenish.

Mothers Day

Mmmmm........Dennis thought he'd already fixed this leak. Pa....???

Some new fabric gorgeousness to play with.....

.....and an eye pillow for Aunty Ray.

A bit of this and that.....

Jo......a new word for us!

You never know what these might turn into but Bill couldn't bear to see them being taken to the tip. They are the interior boards from an office that is being renovated. And another trailer load after that lot. Each board is three metres long.

And then just like that, the sky turned blue and the sun came out........

There's something so beautiful about the look of our gardens after rain.
The birdbath is full to the brim and the ducks are high- fiving on the pond. The horses are slipping and sliding all over the place in the mud but they seem to have smiles on their faces!
Hope all the farmers have something to smile about today too.
