Every time I turned around last week, there was a glorious rainbow.
Speaking of rainbows....
Don't you worry.....I already am!
In fact I make myself giddy sometimes flitting from one thing to another.
I've flitted all day today.
It's been so nice being outside.
The Farmshop has been stocked with flowers...
.....some propagated wormwood and mulberry jam salvia cuttings have been planted and seeds collected from sunflowers and dill have been tossed around the garden by the handful for the rain to water in (mmm, expectations are not high for germination but we shall see) . Nothing lost, nothing gained I say.
The leucadendron strike rate was disappointing. I took 20 cuttings in Autumn and only three have struck. Best result so far though!
Around the garden path today.....
Can't get enough of these gorgeous freesias. I adore them and their sweet perfume.
Apple trees are bursting forth...
.....and the ornamental grapevines.
The gorgeous crab apples are in blossom.
And the tulips have multiplied this year.
Bill has been working on the coffee table.
We chose to use White American oak.
He is doing a fabulous job in between mowing.
Amy is away exploring.
Meanwhile something is feasting on her vegie seedlings! Oh dear!
Helen I agree totally re Rainbow Season. Is your Crab apple called Rejoice? I heard this morning on the radio that its a new one and ideal for smaller blocks of land. Not that your block is small..I might buy one and also another new Ornamental Pear named "Capital" Good to stop neighbors in 2 story homes peering into your yard.
ReplyDeleteCrab apples are perfect trees for smaller gardens Sue. The two in the photo are the Japanese floribunda and Gorgeous.
