The time has come for these plans to be transformed into reality for us.
Our builders started by removing the window.....
....and the split system (outside part).....
......then moved the whole window back again after exposing whatever was needed for concreting and building.
We were happy that they chose to do that. It means that we can still have light coming through while they are working on our new room. (still not sure what to call it yet. In fact we're not even sure what we'll put in there!!)
Concrete Man due at 7.30am tomorrow.
I prepared these little Munstead lavenders for planting tomorrow by giving them a huge drink.
There are 76 of them. Two lavender walks and 6 either side of the rose arbour.
Bill has had the chain on the chainsaw sharpened twice since he bought it!!
It has been going non -stop.
It seems as though the trees and shrubs that we thought may have been okay, have finally decided to turn their toes up.
Scrappy Trip ( well, mine's not entirely scrappy to be honest ) has been my latest quilting project.
I need to have 45 blocks......
Lots of left over Fig tree though.... and I can't bring myself to throw out the labels!
